Wonderful

Happy Weekend! Before we start, don't forget that there's still time to join the current challenge up at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, "Anything Goes".

For today's card, the main image I used is from Crafty Individuals - Build A Meadow Unmounted Rubber Stamp. I used the whole sheet as the background. You could cut the rubber of each indiviual flower but I chose to keep it whole. The stamp is unmounted, so you need to adhere some cling mount or use it by itself, which I did, and laid my paper on top of the inked image.

The sentiment is Mama Elephant - Everyday Greetings. I used two dies from By DIEzyne Dies - Pierced Tickets and Stitched Flags Two. Lastly, I added a pop of color with my pink flower embellishment and some wood flatback pearls.

Stuck On You

Hello everyone! A new challenge starts at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, "Anything Goes", BUT make sure you use a STAMP/IMAGE carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store in order to qualify.

Today's card features this cute stamp set of succulents from Lawn Fawn - Stuck On You. I also use the coordinating Lawn Cuts dies. The base of my card is corrugated cardboard. The white cs was cut by By DIEzyne Dies - Stitched Strips. The green cs was cut by Mama Elephant - Landscape Trio Creative Cuts, and I finished off the edges with By DIEzyne Dies - Big Stitched/Pierced Rectangles.

The inks I used were the pigment inks from Mama Elephant. The sentiment "i'm stuck on you" comes in a straight line, but I wanted it stacked so I ended up trimming each word and stamping it individually. Don't worry, I'm still able to arrange them in a straight line if I choose to on a future project. Lastly, I added some purple twine as my "ribbon" on the card.

Oh, also if you guys want to leave any suggestions on how to take care of real succulent plants, that would be greatly appreciated. I have a mini planter box on my desk and they seem to be not doing too well LOL. Green thumb, do not I have.

June I Am Roses Challenge

Happy Monday! Today a new challenge is up at the I Am Roses Challenge Blog
Here's a Birthday card that I created using Mama Elephant - Make A Wish stamp set. The sentiment is embossed with white embossing powder. The base of the card is kraft cs. The pattern paper is from Echo Park - Everyday Eclectic. I used two dies from By DIEzyne Dies - Big Stitched/Pierced Rectangles and Pierced Tickets.

I used an array of yellow and orange tones of flowers (listed below). I had a butterfly embellishment missing the body, so I just placed a S10 yellow flower in the center. My adhesive/tool of choice for adhering the flowers is using a hot glue gun. These beauties will not budge.

Party Animal

Good morning, Jo here! I'm sharing a quick Birthday card for you on this Saturday. Don't forget there's still time to enter the current challenge over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, "Anything Goes". Make sure you use a STAMP/IMAGE carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store in order to qualify

Here I used Avery Elle - Party Animal and the coordinating die. I just love this cute balloon animal! The background paper is actually a 4x6 Project Life card. These cards make it so easy to create a CAS design. The sentiment is included in the stamp set.

So Cool with Avocado Arts

Hi everyone! Are you ready for summer? My cards feature the new stamp set "So Cool".

Card 1: Thanks for the Pearl-fect Day!

I used a circle shape for my first card. The chose the sentiment "Thanks for the Pearl-fect Day!" and the clam with pearl image, colored with my Copics. The sea sand image is from an oldie but goodie, "Life's A Beach" stamp set. I layered the sand image and alternated the position to create the bottom of the ocean. The clam is covered with Wink of Stella in Clear and I adhered a flat back pearl for the embellishment.

Card 2: I really dig you.

My next card features the sentiment "I really dig you.", the bucket and shovel w/sand image. Again, I used the sand from "Life's A Beach" along with the sand dollar, beach ball, and sea shell. I fussy cut the shovel/sand and inserted it in a cut slit I made in the bucket, a perfect fit! I just added a piece of washi tape at the beginning of the sentiment banner for some color.

Card 3: It's the LITTLE things

Lastly, I kept this card simple. I used the sentiment "It's the LITTLE things" and the watermelon/ant image from the set. I laid down a big piece of polka dot washi tape and placed a grass die cut above it. The little ants look so cute!

Hope you enjoyed my cards using the "So Cool" stamp set. I can't believe it's June! As always, thanks for stopping by and make sure to come check out what the other Designers create over at the Avocado Arts Blog.

Have a fabulous day!

C.C. Designs June Release

Hi guys! Have you seen the New June Release over at C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps? Aren't they cutest, makes you get in the mood for Summer! Here is my card featuring Eggs & Bacon. These two make the yummiest pair. The images are colored with Copics and I added some shimmer with Wink of Stella in Clear. To make the yolk pop, I layered some Glossy Accents over the top. These two are best buds. I used the sentiment "You make my day SUNNY", which is included with the stamp set.

For the patter paper base, I used By DIEzyne Dies - Big Stitched/Pierced Rectangles, and for the circles, I used Double Circles. It kind of mimics an egg, just that the colors are reversed. The cute little grass is the C.C. Designs Cutters - Grass Border die.

Hello

Good morning! Oh you know, just a random Panda on top of a balloon floating up in the clouds, nothing unusual to see here. LOL. A new challenge starts at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, "Anything Goes" (with an Optional Twist "Stitches - Faux or Real Stitching") BUT make sure you use a STAMP/IMAGE carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store in order to qualify

I used Mama Elephant - Pandamonium and coordinating Creative Cuts. I used a lot of stitched dies from By DIEzyne Dies - Big Stitched/Pierced Rectangles, Double Circles, Dotted Wings & Puffy Things. All the die cuts had fauz stitching along the border. I popped up the balloons (circles) and random clouds for dimension. "Hello" is from the Mama Elephant - Everyday Greetings stamp set. Lastly I added some red burlap twine for the balloon strings.

Use stitched dies or create your own faux stitching on your projects. Come play with us over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your week!
